Itinerary

DAY 1: LIMA CITY TOUR-LARCO MUSEUM & MAGIC WATER CIRCUIT
Upon arrival in the Lima Airport. A representative will be waiting for you with a customized sign with your name and take you to your hotel. Morning free to relax.
In the afternoon you’ll meet your English-speaking guide for your exciting tour of Lima, which will take you to Modern and Colonial Lima including the world famous Larco Museum - This half-day tour visits both the colonial and modern sections of Lima. Colonial sites include the lovely Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, San Francisco Church and the exquisite Torre Tagle Palace modern day seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In modern Lima, drive along the exclusive residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro.
Continue to the Larco Museum, founded in 1926, it displays remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. Located in a unique vice-royal mansion of the 18th century built over a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Larco Museum also features the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the famous erotic archaeological collection, one of the most visited Peruvian tourist attractions.
Later you will visit to the Magic Water Circuit, an amazing set of 13 ornamental fountains, cyber interact where water, music, light, pictures and laser effects, in perfect conjunction and harmony, combine to introduce unique and incredible shows, full of magic, illusion and fantasy. It holds the Guinness Record Recognition as "The World's Largest Source Complex in a public park." At the end transfers back to your hotel.

DAY 2: ARRIVAL TO PUERTO MALDONADO -JUNGLE EXPEDITION
Breakfast in the Hotel. Transport from hotel to airport. Arrival at Puerto Maldonado.
Reception at the airport and transfer to the dock located in the native community of Infierno from where we board our canoe and start a one-and-a-half-hour journey to the Explorer’s Inn. During the trip we have a lunch on board and may see caimans, turtles and capybaras, among other animals. We are received at the Inn with a welcome drink. After resting, we take a short night-hike to see nocturnal rainforest animals. Back at the lodge we have dinner with our guide and some of the Resident Naturalists who are available to answer questions or brief us about the Amazon rainforest and the Tambopata National Reserve.

DAY 3: TAMBOPATA RIVER-MACAW CLAY LICK
We breakfast and, at daybreak, board the canoe for a four-hour journey up the Tambopata River, deep into untouched Amazon rainforest with superb wildlife sighting possibilities. On the way we pass basalt rock formations, gold panning sites, wonderful sandy beaches where one can swim, arriving finally at the macaw clay lick, a 200-meter red soil cliff where, for reasons which scientists still do not fully understand, hundreds of macaws and other parrot species converge every morning and afternoon to feed on the mineral rich clay. Once installed at the campsite we have a box lunch. After a brief rest, depending on the season, we may swim in the river and/or go for a walk before having dinner at camp. Note: Depending on weather conditions, season and other factors, the activities on the second day may be replaced by the activities scheduled for the fourth day, with the excursion to the clay lick taking just one day.

DAY 4: MACAW CLAY LICK
Early in the morning we view the macaws at the clay lick and then return by canoe to the Inn, lunching on board. We have the afternoon free. After sunset, we board the canoe again to observe caimans using torches. Back at the lodge, we have dinner with our guides and some of the Resident Naturalists.

DAY 5: COCOCOCHA OXBOW LAKE - CANOPY TOWER
We rise early and walk with our guide approximately three-and-a-half miles to see the giant otters at Cocococha oxbow lake. On the way we observe plants, insects, butterflies, birds, monkeys and, if we are lucky, possibly larger mammals. At the lake we occupy a strategic hiding place and wait for the otters. Afterwards we take a short canoe ride around the lake watching the wildlife on the shoreline. Back at the lodge we have a late lunch and in the afternoon you can either rest or visit our new 42 meters high canopy tower. At dusk we take a brief walk to Sunset Point to watch night fall in the Amazon. We then board the canoes again to watch caimans with torches.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE FROM LODGE/CUSCO
We again wake early to have breakfast and board the canoe to return to Puerto Maldonado. On the way we watch the day dawn over the Tambopata River. Once in Puerto Maldonado we are transferred to the airport to take our return flight to Cusco.

DAY 7: CUSCO CITY TOUR
Breakfast in the Hotel. At 1:35pm pick up from the Hotel; guided sightseeing tour in Cusco such as: the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), which displays the best Inca stonework in the city, and the Cathedral in Cusco’s Main Square with its magnificent colonial art. Go to the outskirts of the city to see the Inca ruins. Saqsahuaman, the amphitheatre of Qenqo, the fortress of Pukapukara and the spring shrine of Tambomachay. Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco.

DAY 8: SACRED VALLEY TOUR
Breakfast in the Hotel. At 8:20am we set off from Cusco heading up and over the highlands towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We arrive at Pisac on the Urubamba river and visit the colourful Pisac village market. Here you can bargain for some of the many artisan goodies on offer. You can either stay here haggling for longer or head up to Pisac ruins situated high up overlooking the valley. After an hour exploring this magnificent site we head back down and through the valley until we reach the town of Urubamba. Here we take a traditional lunch before heading on to Ollantaytambo town for our tour of the archaeological site which hang, high on the valley walls overlooking the town. Ollantaytambo is an attractive little town located at the western end of the Sacred Valley. The town has been built on top of original Inca foundations and is the best surviving example of Inca town planning. The town is located at the foot of some spectacular Inca ruins, which protected the strategic entrance to the lower Urubamba Valley. The temple area is at the top of steep terracing which helped to provide excellent defenses. At the end of our tour we check-in to our hotel.
Overnight in Ollantaytambo.

DAY 9: OLLANTAYTAMBO-AGUAS CALIENTES
Morning transfer to the train station and board the train for the picturesque journey to Aguas Calientes. On arrival to Aguas Calientes the hotel staff will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. You then have the afternoon free to relax.

At 7:00pm our guide will visit you at your hotel to brief you about the next day events.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 10: MACHU PICCCHU
Breakfast in the Hotel. We start early, taking breakfast and then with our guide we take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu in time to catch the magnificent sunrise. Our professional guide will slowly show you around the main areas, recounting myths and legends passed down over the centuries and explain about some of the advanced building techniques the Incas used. After your tour you will have plenty of time to look around. After lunch it will be time to board the afternoon return train,through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo town and then a transfer back to Cusco. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 11: CUSCO/PUNO
Breakfast in the Hotel. Journey by bus to Puno through the impressive landscape of journey by bus to Puno through the impressive landscape of the Andean plateau with scattered indigenous villages and flocks of llamas and vicuñas. Our next stop will be Andahuaylillas, a beautiful Baroque church built at the beginning of the 17th Century and famous for its magnificent murals, as well as an Inca temple in Raqchi dedicated to Wiracocha, one of the Incas' most important deities. Final stop is at the ruins of Pukara (2000 B.C. - A.D. 300). We will lunch at a restaurant en route. On arrival in Puno, you will be assisted at the bus terminal and provided with transport to your chosen hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Puno.

DAY 12: FLOATING ISLANDS AMANTANI
After the breakfast, transfer to the port of Puno to take a tourist motor boat and to direct towards the wonders floating islands of the Uros to us, those millenarian inhabitants who in spite of the time today remain living in artificial islands of totora, known as the tribe the water, because they must construct its own Islands periodically, adding new layers of “Totora”. Its homes and boats are made of that same material. After View we will approximately continue the route by two hours until the Island of Amantani.

This Island is inhabited by native quechua hablantes still prevailed by its old traditions, which main occupation is the production of ceramics and textiles. The positive energy of this Island is so powerful that is well-known as the “Island of Love”. Arriving at the island we will taste of a typical lunch, then we will go to the ceremonial centers “Pachatata” and “Pachamama”, sacred place. At night we will stay ourselves in the familiar houses enjoying the hospitality of a typical home of Amantani.

DAY 13: AMANTANI ISLAND-TAQUILE ISLAND-PUNO
After the breakfast we will start off to the Island of Taquile, place where we will appreciate the form of typical and rustic experience, the place is colorful and landscaping, where they even maintain its customs, ritual, religious and folkloric traditions, also inhabited by native Quechua speakers that have developed an efficient and only social system. In hours of afternoon we will return to the city of Puno. Overnight at the hotel in Puno.

DAY 14: JULIACA/LIMA
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport in order to board the regular flight to Lima.

Itinerary

DAY 1: LIMA CITY TOUR-GOLD MUSEUM
You will be picked up from your hotel at 9:00 a.m.The city tour begin with the visit to the Plaza the Armas, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the centre of the Plaza is a bronze fountain dating from 1560. Located in the Plaza is the Cathedral, note the splendidly carved stalls, the silver covered altars surrounded by fine woodwork, mosaic covered walls bearing the coats of arms of Lima and Pizarro. Next to the Cathedral is the Archbishop's Palace. Then you'll visit the the XVII century Monastery of San Francisco, this is famous for the Sivillian tilework and panelled ceiling in the cloisters, the catacombs under the church and part of the monastery are well worth seeing, You'll visit the old colonial streets in the centre of the city, and the modern Lima with the district of San Isidro and Miraflores.
We will also visit the Peruvian Gold Museum, this excellent collection includes pre-Columbian gold, silver and bronze, ceramics, weavings, mummies, etc. Upstairs is a remarkable arms collections with an impressive exhibition from Spanish colonial times. At the end transfer back to your hotel.

DAY 2: FLIGHT OVER THE NAZCA LINES
6:30am Depart from Lima by bus (Cruz del Sur company) to Nazca 6:30 hours approx.
1.00pm Arrive at the city of Nazca. Then transfer to the airport for the flight over the Nazca Lines, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994. In the area, there are at least 13 giant figures etched on the sandy soil that are only possible to appreciate from a small plane. During the flight over the Nazca Lines, we see the monkey, spider, hummingbird, a geometrical bird, whale, tree, etc. These mysterious lines seem like an astrological calendar, but even today it is still unknown how they were made.
Return to the city of Ica by bus. Overnight in the city

DAY 3: HUACACHINA OASIS
At: 6:30 am transfer from your hotel in Ica to the Paracas Port, where your the boat and tour guide are waiting . Around 7:30 am we take an excursion for 3 hours to the Ballestas Islands. We catch a delightful tourist boat. These islands are spectacular and are eroded into numerous arches and caves, which provide shelter for thousands of seabirds, some of which are very rare, and also sea lions. These islands are known as the “Galapagos of Peru”.
The island is isolated from people so the wild life is not disturbed. As the boat approaches, you get closer to the amazing inhabitants including, pelicans, penguins, cormorants, Peruvian boobies, walruses, sea lions, turtles, dolphins, whales, etc. Along the way we can appreciate Paraca´s Candelabra, a mysterious ancient etching on the sandy slope, perhaps a location signal.
The city of Ica is Peru’s premier wine centre. At a designated time we will take you on the Ica City Tour, where we visit the Regional Museum of Luren, Wine Cellar, Oasis of Huacachina and sandboarding.
Transfer to the bus Station to return to Lima.

DAY 4: LIMA/ AREQUIPA
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa the white city because of its buildings made from sillar, a white volcanic stone. Upon arrival to Arequipa reception and take you to your hotel.
This day you will visit the Main Square, the Convent of Santa Catalina established in 1580 and is among Peru's most beautiful convents, it is like a small-scaled Spanish city, complete with stone streets and plaza ,The place became a monastery after it played the role of providing sanctuary to upper class women in the colonial age. The tour then takes you to see the cathedral, Church and cloisters of the Company, lastly your visit to Carmen Alto and Yanahuara,Sabandía.we will transport you back to your hotel.Overnight at the Hotel in Arequipa.

DAY 5: COLCA VALLEY
Breakfast at hotel. Skirting the volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa, you will enter the Pampa Cañahuas which houses the Vicuña National Reserve,
From there we move on to Patawasi (3800m) where you will take pleasure in the natural rock formations with the Misti and Chachani volcanoes. We will ascend (4500m), passing "Tocra" on the way. You can take pictures of "Altiplano". The "highlight" of the tour will be "Pata Pampa" where you will stand at 4820m. Arrival to Chivay town (3651m),lunch and a little rest.Overnight at the Hotel in Colca Valley.

DAY 6: COLCA CANYON/PUNO
Breakfast.Out at approximately 06:15 hrs.to visit the Cruz del Condor, where you will appreciate the depth the canyon, considered deeper than the Grand Canyon. Appreciate the majestic flight of the condor in its habitat natural. In return, we will visit the towns of Macca(shook by earthquake in 1991) and Yanque with its colonial era churches, and cave paintings. Arrival to Chivay at midday; lunch at one local restaurant. After lunch take the bus to Puno journey will take around 6 hours. Upon arrival reception and transfer to the Hotel in Puno. Overnight at the Hotel in Puno.

DAY 9: PUNO/CUSCO WITH GUIDED TOUR
Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up at 7:00 and transfer to Cusco by tourist bus and taken to the Pukara Rock Carvings Museum,it contains a collection of zoomorphic rock carvings and monoliths showing sophisticated detail. After there will be a short stop at La Raya, the highest point on the road from Puno to Cusco, at over 4313 m.a.s.l. After lunch in the village of Sicuani, you will visit the temple dedicated to the deity Wiracocha in the ruins at Racchi. The next stop will be Andahuaylas. The principal attraction of this town is the church of Andahuaylillas. Also known as the "Sistine Chapel of America" because of the quality of works of art it contains. Once you arrive in Cusco, you will be transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco.

DAY 10: CUSCO CITY TOUR

DAY 11: CUSCO/TINQUI - UPIS
We depart Cusco early the morning for our three hour ride in private transport to the small village of Tinqui (3800 meters/ 12 464 feet). As Tinqui is located on the new Interoceanic highway we can now arrive here much more quickly that in previous years. We pass through beautiful countryside and several traditional villages including Urcos, Cattca and Ocangate. After lunch in Tinqui the first 3 hours on the trail are wonderful prelude to the magnificent scenery of the Cordillera Vilcanota, with great views of Ausangate. We will trek for two hours more until we reach the hot springs at Upis (4,400 meters/ 14432 feet) which offer fantastic views of Ausangate at the end of the valley. We will camp here for the night.

DAY 12: UPIS - LAKE AUSANGATE Q'OCHA
During our morning's trek, we will cross the Arapa pass (4,850 meters/ 15908 feet). From here, we continue 3½ hours down the valley, passing the green lake of Puqa Q'ocha until we reach the turquoise Lake Jatun Puqa Q'ocha. We then ascend the second pass of Apuchata (4,900 metres/ 16 072 feet) with the stunning turquoise blue Laguna Ausangate Q'ocha below. This lake is fed from the melting snow of Ausangate. We will camp here for the second night.

DAY 13: LAKE AUSANGATE Q'OCHA - QAMPA
From the lake we ascend to the Palomani pass (5,200 meters/ 17 056 feet); the highest point of the trek. From the pass we follow the trail into the valley where we will rest and have lunch. During the afternoon we can enjoy views of the snowcapped Tres Picos and Puca punta. We will continue through the broad green valley of Pampa Jutunpata and up the Rio Q'ampa valley. We will spend the night community.

DAY 14: Q'AMPA - PACCHANTA
After passing through the small community of Q'ampa we will head North West to the last pass of this hike, the Q'ampa pass (5000 meters/ 16400 feet). We will see several different colored lakes and lunch beside Q'oma Q'ocha. We hike for several hours before arriving at the small village of Pacchanta. We can soak in the thermal springs for a couple of hours, and even have a well deserved beer! We will set up camp near Pacchanta and you will have the afternoon free to explore this interesting Andean village. (You have the option of staying in a basic hostel this night)

DAY 15: PACCHANTA - CUSCO
After breakfast It is only 3 hours trek back to Tinqui where we will have time to explore this traditional Andean village before taking our private bus back to Cusco.

DAY 16: SACRED VALLEY TOUR

Itinerary

Day 1: Lima/City tour

Upon arrival in the Lima Airport. A representative will be waiting for you with a customized sign with your name and take you to your hotel. Morning free to relax. In the afternoon your trip starts with a tour of the city centre containing Government Palace, Basílica Cathedral , City Hall Palace. You will also visit the church of San Francisco, with its enviable collection of old books and a network of catacombs open to the public, as well as other churches and monuments. The tour continues through the residential areas of San Isidro, Miraflores and modern Lima. you will stop briefly at the Parque del Amor (very popular with couples on St. Valentine´s day). Overnight at the Hotel in Lima.

Day 2: Lima / Cusco - City Tour

Breakfast in the Hotel. Transport from hotel to airport. Arrival at Cusco, a representative will be waiting for you with a customized sign with your name and take you to your hotel. Day 3: Mollepata-Soraypampa

We will leave from Cusco at 5:00 a.m. and take a three hour bus ride to Mollepata. Upon arrival we will meet our horsemen for the journey. After walking three hours we will arrive at Markoccasa, lunch, and rest for an hour before beginning our walk to Soraypampa. In this part of the trek we will be able to see just ahead of us the first snow cape of Huamantay in its entire splendor. Here, our crew will meet us with cups of hot Coca tea and shortly afterwards, dinner.

Day 4: Soraypampa-Chaullay

After breakfast we will set off at 6:30 a.m. to begin a four hour climb up to the first pass of the mountain, Salkantay. At the peak of the mountain, which is located at around 4630m/15250 feet we will spend some time so we may take pictures of the grand and beautiful view of a large mountain range. When you have snapped all those incredible photos we will descend the mountain for 4 hours on a rather pleasant path to Chaullay, where we will find our campsite at 2950m/9735 feet

Day 5: Chaullay - Playa-Santa Teresa

Leaving very early in the morning after our breakfast we will walk to Colpabamba. In this part of the trip we will walk down a narrow path, passing by various species of orchids and other types of plants representative of the area, cornfields, and fruit orchards. All in all this leg of the journey will take five hours after which we will arrive at La Playa where we will camp or take a small truck to the town of Santa Teresa located about an hour away at 1650m/5429feet.

Day 6: Santa Teresa-Hidroelectrica-Aguas Calientes

We will awake and after breakfast we will begin a three hour walk to arrive at the hydroelectric area that is also a small town. Here we will stop to eat our lunch. Finally we will arrive at Aguas Calientes after three hours walk (there is also an option to bypass the walk and take the train) where we will stay the night in a hotel.

Day 7: Aguas Calientes-Machu Picchu-Cusco

We´ll have early breakfast. Then at 5:30 am we will catch the first bus to Machu Picchu in order to appreciate the magnificent city as the sun is rising. A walking tour (approximately 2 hours) is given by your Guide and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. If you still have energy you can also climb HuaynaPicchu (2700m/8890feet) it takes 45 minutes to reach the top.

Day 8.Free day in Cusco by yourself

Day 9 Cusco/Lima

Itinerary

Day 1: Lima/City tour

Upon arrival in the Lima Airport. A representative will be waiting for you with a customized sign with your name and take you to your hotel.Morning free to relax.In the afternoon your trip starts with a tour of the city centrecontaining Government Palace, Basílica Cathedral , City Hall Palace. You will also visit the church of San Francisco, with its enviable collection of old books and a network of catacombs open to the public, as well as other churches and monuments. The tour continues through the residential areas of San Isidro, Miraflores and modern Lima. you will stop briefly at the Parque del Amor (very popular with couples on St. Valentine´s day).Overnight at the Hotel in Lima.

Day 2: Lima / Paracas

Breakfast in the Hotel. Transport to the bus station for the trip to Paracas; the drive on the South Pan-American Highway. you will reach the Pisco airport and fly to the mysterious Lines of the Panpa de Nazca, as they are only observable from flight. Lunch will be served after the Nazca Lines tour, after which you will be free for the day. Overnight at the Hotel in Paracas.

Day 3: Paracas - Ballestas Islands / Lima

Breakfast in the Hotel. Transport to the Paracas Bay to embark on motorboat trip to the Ballestas Island. Attractions on the Island include sea lions,pelicans,Humboldt penguins. From the water off the shore of Paracas can you get a full view of the Candelabra drawn in the sand,here you will get to visit the Center of Interpretation of Paracas, then we go to see a rock formation called THE CATHEDRAL, called like that because the erosion gave that shape trough the million of years.
After that we will visit a circuit of beaches as red beach, lagunilla beach and yumaque beach. Is in this one where we found a group of big stones consider as a fosillized dinosaurs egg, still being a unexplained topic for the science. Return to Lima by bus and transport from the bus station to your chosen hotel. Overnight at the Hotel in Lima.

Day 4:Lima/ Arequipa

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa the white city because of its buildings made from sillar, a white volcanic stone.Upon arrival to Arequipa reception and take you to your hotel.
This day you will visit the Main Square, the Convent of Santa Catalina established in 1580 and is among Peru's most beautiful convents, it is like a small-scaled Spanish city, complete with stone streets and plaza ,The place became a monastery after it played the role of providing sanctuary to upper class women in the colonial age. The tour then takes you to see the cathedral, Church and cloisters of the Company, lastly your visit to Carmen Alto and Yanahuara,Sabandía.we will transport you back to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel in Arequipa.

Day 5:Arequipa/Colca Valley

Breakfast at hotel.Skirting the volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa, you will enter the Pampa Cañahuas which houses the Vicuña National Reserve,
From there we move on to Patawasi (3800m) where you will take pleasure in the natural rock formations with the Misti and Chachani volcanoes. We will ascend (4500m), passing "Tocra" on the way. You can take pictures of "Altiplano". The "highlight" of the tour will be "Pata Pampa" where you will stand at 4820m. Arrival to Chivaytown (3651m), lunch and a little rest.Overnight at the Hotel in Colca Valley.

Day 6:Colca Canyon/ Puno

Breakfast.Out at approximately 06:15 hrs.to visit the Cruz del Condor, where you will appreciate the depth the canyon, considered deeper than the Grand Canyon. Appreciate the majestic flight of the condor in its habitat natural. In return, we will visit the towns of Macca(shook by earthquake in 1991) and Yanque with its colonial era churches, and cave paintings. Arrival to Chivay at midday; lunch at one local restaurant.After lunch take the bus to Puno journey will take around 6 hours. Upon arrival reception and transfer to the Hotel in Puno. Overnight at the Hotel in Puno.

Day 7:Lake Titicaca tour/Uros Floating Islands¬ - Taquile

Breakfast at hotel . Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by our local guide and then transferred to the harbor. We start off our boat excursion of Lake Titicaca by visiting "The Uros Floating Islands", The Uros people harvested the reeds in the shallows of the lake, bundled them together tightly and built floating island platforms complete with reed houses and canoes, creating in this way their own little world. On the islands we will learn with our local guide about the life style and customs. After strolling around the floating Islands, we continue our journey towards "Taquile Island" (2 hour aprox.), a traditional Quechua speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces. The weaving tradition of the Taquile Island goes back to early civilizations, thus keeps elements from pre-Inca Andean cultures alive in the present. When we reach the shores of Taquile Island, we will have to walk up along a narrow path, enjoying on the way impressive views of the Lake Titicaca and also see gorgeous little houses inhabited by the direct decedents of the Inca Culture. Lunch at one local restaurant. After lunch, we will descent to the harbor to take our boat back to Puno. We will be back in Puno by 17:00 hrs. approximately. Overnight at the Hotel in Puno

Day 8:Puno/ Cusco with Guided Tour

Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up at 7:00 and transfer to Cusco by tourist bus and taken to the Pukara Rock Carvings Museum,it contains a collection of zoomorphic rock carvings and monoliths showing sophisticated detail. After there will be a short stop at La Raya, the highest point on the road from Puno to Cusco, at over 4313 m.a.s.l. After lunch in the village of Sicuani, you will visit the temple dedicated to the deity Wiracocha in the ruins at Racchi. The next stop will be Andahuaylas. The principal attraction of this town is the church of Andahuaylillas. Also known as the "Sistine Chapel of America" because of the quality of works of art it contains. Once you arrive in Cusco, you will be transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco.

Day 9:Cusco - City Tour

Breakfast in the Hotel. Transport from hotel to airport. Arrival at Cusco, a representative will be waiting for you with a customized sign with your name and take you to your hotel.At 1:30pm pick up from the Hotel; guided sightseeing tour in Cusco such as: the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), which displays the best Inca stonework in the city, and the Cathedral in Cusco's Main Square with its magnificent colonial art.Go to the outskirts of the city to see the Inca ruins. Day 10:Cusco/ Sacred Valley of the Incas

Breakfast in the hotel.This tour is a full day and includes the village of Qorao (where is possible to take beautiful pictures of the landscapes from a lookout site ), Pisaq market where you can purchase beautiful textiles, jewelry and ceramics . Lunch at Sacred Valley, after lunch, visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, This is a large site of ruins characterized by fine masonry, terraces, canals, granaries, fortress walls, and the Temple of the Sun. On the way back to Cusco we'll also visit Chinchero.Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco.

Day 11: Cusco / Machu Picchu

Breakfast in the Hotel.you will be picked up from Cusco hotel by our company representative who will then drop you at the railway station of Ollantaytambo for a two hour train journey to Machu Picchu "The Lost City of the Incas" . Machu Picchu is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a masterpiece of construction and engineering as well as a sanctuary for Inca Pachakuteq (1438 - 1572).
Arrive at AguasCalientes, you will get on a bus that will drive you up a hill to Machu Picchu or "Old Mountain". Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the sacred sun dial (the most important preserved Intihuatana), the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the entire tour is complete, you will have enough time to wander around this Archaeological Site.Lunch at a local restaurant.Afternoon: return by bus and train to Cusco.Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco.

Day 12 Cusco/Lima

Day 3: Maras-Moray

Breakfast in the hotel. Forty kilometers from Cuzco, is the town of Maras, found in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Tourist sites in the area include the colonial church and local salt mines. Since pre-Inca times, salt has been obtained in Maras by evaporating salty water (provided by a nearby subterranean stream) in the sun, leaving the salt behind. Moray, seeing this Inca green-house. This tour will take you to the magnificent series of terrace circles set into the ground that were once used by the Incas for experimentation with crops. Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco

Day 4: Traditional villages and Andean forest

Today we pick you up at 5:00 am and travel by bus for the 1 hour ride to the village of Pumahuanca (2840m/9400feet) located in the Sacred Valley between Pisac and Urubamba. Huaran is the start of the trail. We´ll meet up with the horsemen and pack the horses. Leaving the Sacred Valley behind us we head northwards following a gently climbing trail that runs parallel to the small CanchaCancha River. It´s a 4 hour trek to our destination, the small village also named CanchaCancha (3800m/12600feet) where we´ll spend the night.

Day 5: Challenging

After breakfast We´ll Leave CanchaCancha to continue north east up the valley, passing small village stone houses. After hour the path flattens out before climbing steeply for the 2 hour trek to the highest pass, called Pachacutec Pass (4200m/13900feet). From the pass you´ll be rewarded with superb views of Pachacutec Lake and the snowy peaks of Pitusiray. The path continues for an hour along a narrow ridge until dropping down into a beautiful valley filled with glacial lakes .Descends into the next valley, following a series of cascading waterfalls to the village of Quishuarani (3700m/12250feet) overnight.

Day 6: Beautiful Hot springs

The trail follows now the river valley downhill for about 3 1/2 hours to the town of Lares (3100m/10250feet). Hour before arriving in Lares town you´ll have time to enjoy a soak in some open air thermal springs (bring a swimsuit). At about 1pm (after lunch) the bus will pick us up and leave to Ollantaytambo, there you will have some time to rest and see this amazing town before going to AguasCalientes by Train .Overnight at the Hotel in AguasCalientes.

Day 7: Machu Picchu

We´ll have early breakfast. Then at 5:30 am we will catch the first bus to Machu Picchu in order to appreciate the magnificent city as the sun is rising. Our next stop will be Andahuaylillas, a beautiful Baroque church built at the beginning of the 17th Century and famous for its magnificent murals, as well as an Inca temple in Raqchi dedicated to Wiracocha, one of the Incas' most important deities. Final stop is at the ruins of Pukara (2000 B.C. - A.D. 300). We will lunch at a restaurant en route. On arrival in Puno, you will be assisted at the bus terminal and provided with transport to your chosen hotel.Overnighta at the hotel in Puno
